Hi my name is Ruth and I have been a Goo fan since about 2001 when I was watching a marathon of Behind The Music's on VH1. I saw the one on the Goo's and I was hooked. I had 2 of their CD's but never really listened them. Then I heard Dizzy and that was it.
I needed to find out all about them so I joined AG and some other boards and started going to shows. I saw them once in 2002 and 2003. Then from then til now I have seen them 12 other times. I am also seeing them for the first time on NYE ths year. Woo Hoo!!!! I have met them twice and hope to meet them again someday.
I have met so many wonderful friends through our mutual love of them. And I love you all.
I am a mom to 2 kids. James 15 1/2 and Sierra who will be 12 in Jan. I am married for the second time and we have been married for 8+ years. I work at my daughters school as a one on one aide to 2 kids. It is nice. OK enough about me.

I already knew Iris for since it came out, but always thought about that band's funny name. Then for some reason Black Balloon ended up in my winamp playlist (I still don't know how..) almost 2 years ago and I really liked that song. I downloaded a few others and decided to buy Dizzy Up The Girl.. and that was it! I was in love My real name is Ronnie and actually a magnetron is a microwave in dutch, so my nick has nothing to do with magnets orso I just looked for something that ended with ron so I could extend it with my name, and it sounds funny. I'm 23 years old and I live in Eindhoven, a minor city in the south of the Netherlands, close to Belgium. I'm currently in my final year, doing internship at a laboratory in a hospital. I have a girlfriend who I'm slowing turning into a goo-fan too and I have 2 guinea pigs! Oh and I still live at home with my mom, but I hope to move out as soon as I can afford it.

My name is Sue and I live in Montreal, Quebec, Canada...I have been married for 16 years, and have a 13 year old son named Bryan, and way too many cats...I saw clips of the Live in Buffalo concert, and really liked Name, Slide, and of course my all time favourite song, Black Balloon...I saw them once in Montreal in 2006, and had a great meet and greet at the same time...I'm hoping to see them again sometime next year...

I was aware of ABNG thanks to my mom for owning it (we'd always listen to it on car-trips, alongside Counting Crows' 'August and Everything After' album... Hmmm, coincidence?!), and the fact that I grew up with the radio ALWAYS on (I'm still like that).
I didn't really become hooked, per se, until Lazy Eye, and then I sort of stole ABNG from my mom, a cassette which I only gave back within the past year, since I finally had no way to play it.
And, then BOOM, DUTG hit, and Black Balloon ensnared me, and by the time EOAC came out, I had tracked down the rest of their catalog, and, well... Here I am.
I'm 21, been a Goober for 11 years, and I'm off at school, living with a roomie, working on my Bachelor's in English, with a minor in Secondary Ed. I hope to teach 11th or 12th grade, and we'll just see how that goes.
And, I'm done blabbing.
Thanks, y'all, for sharing the M&G photos! They're really nice to see.
