Yeah, I had to pull out my album with pics and ticket stubs to count. I couldn't remember!! What's funny is that about 3/4 of the concerts have been in the last 16 months! One more thing about me is that I LOVE concerts! I am very fortunate to have been to many amazing shows! My bank account would have been bigger is I hadn't, but... it's all GOO'd!!!

First of all, Nick, this is a great thread. ;D My name is Sheila, I'm single and live in Connecticut. Although I have enjoyed the Goo Goo Dolls' music since the late 90s, it wasn't until I bought LIB back in January 2005 that I got hooked!! I played that cd/dvd so much, I'm surprised they still play, LOL. Even though I knew most of the songs, it was like I was hearing them with new ears and many of the effected me in a whole new way. My first time seeing them in concert was last November in Albany at the Palace Theater and if I wasn't hooked before, I was after that day and what a day it was!!! Not only was it my first Goo concert but I was fortunate and blessed to meet John that night. I got a hug and was able to say a quick "thank you for your music". It was so great to share it with Ruth, Kiki, Cheryl and I'm so happy I met Tracy that night too. It's a day I'll never forget!!! I went to 5 shows this year for a total of 6 concerts in 9 months!!! I was also very lucky and blessed once again to meet all of them this summer when I won a meet & greet. It's been an awesome Goo-filled year!!! ;D ;D Their music really has really been life changing for me and thanks to them, I have some amazing friends as well. I could write more too but I'll stop there for now.

Thanks, Nick. I came in here to redo my post because when I typed it up the other day, I hit a key by mistake and it disappeared but I see that it worked after all, LOL.

my name is maria im from wales (in the uk) iv only been a goo goo doll fan for about a year and a half, thats only because id never heard of them. the first song i ever heard was name from the first listen i loved this song i could relate to the lyrics.so then i brought all there cd's(im so sad i have 3 copys of some of them because iv worn them out listning to them so much) and i have nearly every song they have ever done and hundreds of vids on my pc. iv seen them 6 times in just over a year the first time was 1/06/06 in birmingham.i don't remember much about it the most memorable was in liverpool last october.it was my birthday and i had won a m&g (i couldnt have had a better b day prezzy) before the gig started i was just waiting at the back of the venue i was on my mobile and john walkes past me and i didnt even notice so i went and then i litrally nearly walk in to robby but im so shy and i didn't want to bother him so i carried on walking but i think i screamed omg thats robby,i hope he didnt hear me.then i had my m&g it went sooooo fast i forgot to ask johnny for a hug :(then after the m&g they let us in the venue before everybody else i couldn't beleive it( i was first in the que anyway i had somebody saving a space for me) so i got to stand in front of john i also caught a guitar pic off brad ;D i also went to the cardiff gig the next day thats like 6 hours away from liverpool lucky i live in the middle. i had another m&g that day i forgot to ask for a hug again i dont think im ever going to get a hug off john i managed to get in the front row again , i was so hyper i hadnt had any sleep and id just met my fav band twice and from the first song i was going crazy singing and dancing and john must have seen me because he kept laugthing and smiling at me(well i think it was at me) then in feel the silence john climbed on the speaker in front of me and sang to me(well in my direction) it happned so fast i missed half of it trying to get my camara out to take a pic then it wouldn't work but john waited untill the flash had gone off before he went , i wish i could remember it better sory i think ill stop now before i bore you all there music has really changed my life, it also inspired me to start playing my guitar again name was the first song i learned to play

Maria, I loved reading your story and you didn't bore me at all. I love reading how people became fans of the guys, their m&g stories and how their music has touched them. I have no doubt that during the next tour, you'll get that hug from John. ;D
